TESCOM's Tuning software can create a simple profile used for burst testing. The user can specify the ramp pressure and rate. The Signal Generator in the Tune program or a switch (ER3000FX-X models) is used to start the profile. The Outer Error Maximum value is set to send the ER3000 into failsafe when the burst occurs, 5% in this example. The Plot screen shows that the setpoint remains at the burst pressure of the test article, but the feedback drops off causing the ER3000 to go in to failsafe and stop controlling.* Simply start the profile again to test the next sample. |
